I explained in a post a while ago that my programming days are over. Code is a drug to me, one that doesn't treat me well. I'm simply a user that thinks in unusual ways. If that means clever remains to...

@vattuvarg The concept of a zoomable calendar is awesome. It’s a minimalistic concept. Instead of a menu to switch between several views you can just zoom with a pinch gesture. And your thesis, that...

@vattuvarg Good idea. I will take it up for our app. Has someone information about the migration from mkCal to QtPIM to collect the data? Is there an API for the timer and alarms?

I would like to see a timeline view that shows all "alarms" in one place. Timers, alarms (including recurring ones), reminders, calendar events, etc.

Using a zero duration might be a workaround, but regularly the CalDav standard knows task entities. Unfortunately the [specification](https://icalendar.org) of the standard is not fully supported by...

See my duplicate here: https://together.jolla.com/question/199619/appointment-with-zero-duration/ It adds a slightly different perspective to the request. As mentioned there, it was possible to have...

@vattuvarg. I using reminders for my business and private task management. My devices including my Sailfish phone are synchronised with my company's CalDav and CardDav server. On my Mac I'm using the...

Unfortunately, the remunder (tasks) of a CalDav account are ignored. I assume, that reminders are not part of the Dailfish's calendar data model. For me it's an important use case.

I absolutely see a use case. If I want to be reminded about something at one time, I don't really want to make an event that spans any time at all.

I still don't understand what actual use that provides, and i'm genuinely interested in knowing since that would increase your chances of getting upvotes and other attention.

Is there any possibility to set up multiple reminders in sailfish calendar? On iOS its a possible thing, also directly in Nextcloud. Even if I set up multiple reminders for an event outside of sailfish...

i am talkig when I have to put event/object in the calendar just to be reminded of something. Yes, I can put 1 min event, but seems to me that this is.just a workaround since the othe platforms offer...

But does it actually matter? I use my calendar almost exclusively to ser reminders, and all those events are the default 1hr. I have yet to have any problem with that. What problem does this give you?...

Enabling reminers on calendar events is just a choice when creating one. Does it actually matter if the duration isn't zero?

Hello, In my previous phone (WP10) I was able to create reminders with just adding event that is start and end time matches (e.g. 12:00-12:00). For jolla I was not able to set a reminder in the...
